i3 2120 bottleneck?

So currently, I have an Intel Core i3 2120 3.3 ghz CPU. I am planning to get a R9 280X Toxic graphics card, and according to several reviews, it is very good. So I was wondering, would having an i3 2120 decrease the performance of the r9 280x? Will they even support each other? Please answer in full detail please. Thanks. Here's my current PC:

- i3 2120 3.3 ghz
- GTX 650 TI 1GB
- 4GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM
- 1tb WD Blue hard drive
- Thermaltake smartpower 750w PSU

Where are you buying from? You may want to consider an R9 290 with a custom cooler which costs the same (or less) in some places.
