I3-4130 W/ GT 740 vs G3220 W/ GTX 750 ti

Which one would you guys get? The G3220 W/ GTX 750 ti would be cheaper but I'm afraid it will bottleneck the 750 ti.

Can you go for the G3258 Anniversary edition with the 750 Ti? That'd be the best choice, and that CPU won't bottleneck the 750 Ti.

For that price a much better option would be an athlon 750k with the 750 ti.

g3220 with 750 ti in a heart beat, however a g3258 would be a MUCH better option.

Athlon 750K is good, however it only supports a dead socket and is only better than intel Pentium in very highly threaded apps, which games aren't in.

I agree with you on the dead socket part. But if he isn't going to upgrade his parts for 3-4 years it is better to go for an athlon. If he is going to upgrade its a different story.
