Build 1:
CPU: Pentium G3258 (i'm gonna OC it)
VGA: GTX 760 2GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black 4GB
PSU: Corsair VS450
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB

Build 2:
CPU: i3-4130
VGA: GTX 750 Ti 2GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black 4GB
PSU: Corsair VS450
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB

Which is better?

a hard choice..... go with the second one. the faster processor will help you in the future if you think of installing a better graphics card. and dual core Pentiums dont run good in all games though. far cry 4 crashes as soon as you launch it in a dual core pentium(or any other dual core cpu with no hyper treading)

4 gb of ram is a little less too. i recommend you to buy 8gigs of ram

You should note which hardware is unchangeable and which you are deciding to acquire. Also, state the intended purpose of the machine.

I really like the G3258 as an econo chip because it's so capable and so inexpensive. Get a decent mobo. I mean Z97 chipset - I got a used one on Ebay for 50 bux. It's awesome and I run my G3258 every day at 40 mhz base clock, and 44/43 turbo boost ( I was able to use Turbo with the better mobo even though the G3258 technically doesn't just "have" it.) The trick is having a Z97 chipset mobo. I've had it up to 46/45 Turbo and 42 base. It was stable but I didn't need that much speed and wanted to spare it a bit. You need a good cooler like the Cooler Master 212 or Xigmatek Gaia or similar. This basic design is great.

I built 2 gaming rigs - 1 with a i5 4690K and the other with a G3258. Both are great. If you go 4GB RAM, then you really ought to go 32 bit with your OS. You'll have more available ram for your games & processes that way. Nothing wrong with 32bit OS. In fact it's ideal for a dual core 4GB ram setup.

The GTX 760 or the R9 270X or a newer GTX 960 or R7 370 4GB (preferred) would do well with a G3258 in games like War Thunder & WOW. The Radeons are a better buy. Nviia cards like the 760 and 750 ti are priced higher than their better-performing Radeon counterparts.

You'd be best off with a bigger PSU just for the sake of running a cooler system. Do not go minimalist on your PSU wattage. Get at least 50% more than you need.

The i3 4130 is a very good CPU but you'll save money and do better with the G3258. If a person didn't OC and just wanted to pop in a CPU
the i3 would be great but even at stock 3.2, the G3258 would be a better buy and deliver the same perceptible performance for the average user. I got my new in box G3258 from eBay for $56. I also have an i3 3240 system that is stock @3.4. It's in my wife's home office machine. It's great but it's not much better than the G3258 at stock. I had a Z87 mobo and did that build for that reason.

Lastly, why do you not have a SSD listed? You'e nerfing your whole system without a SSD. I recommend a 240 GB for most users.
