i3 6100 H110M XMP

Hello there, i will be purchasing 3000Mhz DDR4 memory, a H110M board for my i3 6100. What i want to know is, if i enable XMP in the bios, and the memory speed increases, ive seen in some videos etc online that it also raises the base clock overclock. I know that Z170 boards only support BCLK overclocking for non-k cpus, but will the base clock of the processor increase on the H110M board when i enable XMP? Can i turn Base clock down if it increases? What happens if you try BCLK overclocking on non Z170 boards?

Solution
I'm afraid that, XMP enabled or not, your RAM is going to run at 2133mhz and your i3 will run at it's stock speed.

The option to overclock using the BCLK on non boards is simply not there.

Note: I'm aware of some online videos showing otherwise, but I have yet to see it happen in person.

I really just want to be able to run faster than 2133Mhz memory on an H110M board, will i be able to do that? Ive seen the i3 6100 take a good deal of performance faster ram. Besides just enabling XMP to increase speed, can i get it done by tweaking voltages and timings and stuff?
