i3-6100 or FX-8350 for 720p,900p

Ok, I know that there are tons of posts like this, However I wanted to know your opinion.
I have quite a tight budget and I cannot decide beetwen getting a
i3-6100 w/ GTX 960 2 GB
or
FX -8350 w/ R9 380 2 GB
Take it mind that I would like to play on high-ultra settings, but at 900p or 720p (whatever gives me more perfomance) , All that with the usual 8GB of ram, And btw its Asrock a Reliable MoBo brand ?

i3 in a landslide. And I think that can easily do 1080P high settings. And AsROCK's reliable nowadays.

+1 for the i3, so you can later upgrade to an even better CPU when needed.

Try getting a 4GB version of either of those video cards, it will help a lot when going for Ultra settings.
