i3 6100 + rx 470 =?

Hello folks I build slowly my pc part by part.. I asked the forum about the rx 470 they say you will be great with this gpu so I purchase the rx 470 but now I'm going to buy new cpu cause mine amd Athlon x4 740 its just...nvm and I want to buy these parts :
mobo : MSI B150MPRO-VDH, Socket 1151
cpu : Intel® Core™ i3-6100, 3.70GHz, Skylake, 3MB, Socket 1151, Box
ram : HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2x4GB) DIMM, DDR4, 2666MHz, CL15
GPU : rx 470 - already bought + new psu
so my question it's will they be compatible with each other also this will be huge upgrade from my
amd Athlon x4 740

Yes they are compatible, and yes, the CPU will be a very good upgrade.

All these parts will work together just fine. The 6100 isn't by any means a super powerful core, but will definitely be an upgrade, and will be fine for light workloads and gaming. You will be able to play most games 60+fps medium settings

You should get cheaper RAM and invest in bit better motherboard since only z170 chipset support RAM speeds above 2133 MHz, so getting 2666 Mhz RAM is useless and waste of money with that motherboard.

Yes they will perform better but you dont need 2666 Mhz RAM, because that motherboard cant deliver RAM speed above 2133 Mhz. Take some 2133 Mhz ram and with rest of they money you can get i5 6500 that will perform better than i5 6400 cuz it have higher clock speeds.

I can't find more cheap ram than this these are 2x4GB and it's the cheapest also I found an Kingston 8 GB, DDR4, 2133, CL14 1 stick for just 1$ more than 2x4GB 2 sticks

Ah since they are the cheapest then it is fine.You will see huge performance boost going from that Athlon to i5 6400, it would be even better if you can get your hands on i5 6500 but if you cant 6400 will also do fine job with RX 470.

the price between i5-6400 and i5-6500 it's like 5-10$ in my country so ill go with the i5 6500 thanks again
