i3 6100 user, upgrade to 2600k or i5 7500?

hi currently im rocking my cute 6100 with 4gb ram but however my mobo just died. so i decided to buy a new mobo, an i5 cpu and add another 4gb of ram to the setup. however there is this one guy who's selling i7 2600k, oc mobo and 8gb of ddr3 ram for around the same price. Im not looking forward to upgrade my pc in a while after buying these, so any opinion?

Don´t you have warranty for your current but dead motherboard?

Take the chance to get a new system, the i5 will last longer and has warranty.

The old "OC" Board will die in the next 2years if you are lucky, if not it could die a few hours after you have installed it.

You could get a B250 board for ~$70, and save a bit. My vote is for the i5. Those two will perform around the same, but the i5 will be less power hungry and have much better upgrade prospects, not to mention a warranty.
