i3 6th Gen vs i5 6th Gen Question HELP !!!

Hello ,
I want to buy a new budget CPU for 1151 socket and I can't decide ... (I Only want to play GTA V Online nothing else)
I am thinking about i3 6100 , in my country this cpu has 136 Euros or i3 6320 .
On the other hand i5 6400 has 207 Euros but I don't know if it is worth it

Teh lower teh resolution, the more you will be limited by the CPU and not the GPU 😉

720p.. it would be very overkill to grab the i5 if you're playing at that resolution. And also the reason why i benchmark show a high end gpu is to eliminate gpu bottleneck so you can see how much different the cpu are. Maybe Hlsgsz didn't value their money like i do.

The CPU has almost no difference in workload per frame from changing the resolution. More pixels to crunch means more work for the GPU. Less pixels, means less work for the GPU, therefore it will become able to push very high framerates and it will be up to the CPU to keep up.

Exactly. You're basically proving that i'm right for taking the g3258 and save the money for the gpu. Why does people blaming me for bad advice when i'm speaking facts from benchmark and review on the internet? strange :/
