Hi, I'm looking at two CPU's.
The Intel Core i3 3220, 3M Cache, with 3.3 Gigahertz; and I'm comparing this with an Intel i5 4430, 6M Cache, with 3.2 Gigahertz
On my build my main pieces for gaming will be 8 gb of DDR3 ram with a GTX 645 or GTX 660. (If I get the i3, I will get the GTX 645, unless I can find a way to get a GTX 660. If I get the i5 I will get a GTX 660).
Of these two computers how will my FPS differ between the i3 with GTX 660 and i5 GTX 660, and how will they differ if I go with the i3 GTX 645 vs. the i5 with GTX 660.
I'm looking to run my games at a minimum of 40 to 45 FPS hopefully on at least medium, I'm looking at the Alienware X51s but may consider ordering a custom built as Dell will not allow a GTX 660 on an i3 (for some odd reason).
I appreciate all of the help, this is my first post on these forums. I've visited them before to browse for other question but have never had any of my own until I was in this situation.
