I have an i5 10600K with an Arctic Freezer 7 X cooler on it and I'd just like to ask if my temps are reasonable or should I be worried:
While idle I'm between 35-40 Celcius (my room is around 24-28). While under medium load such as gaming (anything between 30%-50% use) it jumps up to 60-75 Celius with the occasional 80 and rare 85. And lastly, under full load (or 90%-100% use) I've reached 88-91 Celius at most which only happened for very few seconds/minutes while encoding a video.
Now for the GPU, I have a GTX 970 which at idle sits around 40-45 Celcius and under full load gets to and never exceeds but also very rarely drops under 80 degrees.
Should I be concerned? Maybe look for a better cooler for the CPU or add a top exhaust fan? I have the ASUS TUF GAMING GT301 case which I just got a few days ago for better cooling (after running with the same case for 9 years) so it has 3 front intakes and 1 rear exhaust and I'd like to stick to positive pressure.
Note: the CPU is NOT overclocked.
Additional note to keep in mind about that one time I got to 91C, it was with my old case which had just 1 rear exhaust fan which was old and didn't work too well, now my temps are 5-10 degrees lower (all other numbers are with the new case) so hopefully I don't see 90+ again.
Thanks for any help in advance!
