i5 2400 Budget PC Build

Hello! I'm on a really tight budget and wanted to build a gaming pc. I don't expect very good performance out of it, but it should probably run some games I want it to. Here are the specs:

•i5 2400 (used from a prebuilt thinkcentre pc with mobo)
•8gb 1600mhz ram
• Gtx 750 ti or gtx 760 (probably gtx 760 for better performance and used from ebay)
•EVGA 500 W1

Total is about 250-300€
Will it play games like fortnite, CS:GO, gta 5 and overwatch on decent settings?

csgo easily high and fortnite high gta you if you to play high you will have to turn some settings down and overwatch high

Ok good. If you can, get the GTX 760. It can be about 50% faster in certain games over the 750ti.

I have an RX 6870 with 1 GB which is one tier below the GTX 750 Ti. In Fortnite I have to turn everything to low and run my 3D resolution at something like 1000 lines (on a 1440p monitor) in order to keep a decent frame rate (preferably in the 60+ range). I have the same CPU.

Most programs need 16gb. When you use 8gb in fortnite, you might get major spikes of lag. 8gb is getting old. Even simple browsing in google uses 20gb. Evidence:

I saw this video. Opening a RIDICULOUS amount of tabs is not considered simple browsing. I could post videos of my HTPC or my backup PC, both of which run 8GB of DDR3 getting 70 fps @1080 res in heavy games like BF1.

8gb is usable, but 16gb is the sweet spot. If you get 8gb, get 16gb soon.

Nobody is saying that 16GB isn't the sweet spot but to say he needs 16GB to play Fortnite is 100% wrong.
