i5 2500k 3.3ghz idle temp?

What should the Idle Temp be for my i5 2500k 3.3ghz
I have never really checked the temperature/settings for my CPU and was wondering if these results are good or bad?

Idle temperature is largely irrelevant but it depends on ambient temperature, the type of case and how much air flow the case has. Your results are nothing to worry about.

anything below 50 is good.
last week my computer crashed 3 times in a week.
I checked my cpu temp and it was at 67C idle, and 89C at 100% load.
I went and got a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO .

I just realized it might be overclocked.
I built it in 2011, I do not mess with overclock setting.
it was something I was planning on doing later.
then never got around to it.
I can not figure out how the settings changed.
it has been stable for a week now.
I have ran this system 24/7 since 2011.
