I have the newest drivers for GPU, I have the patch for Dying Light, my PC isn't overclocked, stock cooler and when I run at highest preset with GTX 970 it runs at about 60-80 fps, but the temperature is about 95* Celsius. I just cleaned the cooler, could it be the thermal paste ?

LOL Holy shit WTF : http://screenshooter.net/101976255/sbeebfn

My PC case is open from both sides right now, could that be it ?

No, your cooler now has a loose push pin ... ooops! :D It doesn't take much to disturb a push pin and pop it loose. The cooler should feel snug, and you shouldn't be able to wiggle it at all.

To troubleshoot this problem, keep an eye on the temperatures while pressing firmly for about 20 seconds on each corner of the cooler. When you see the temperatures show a significant drop, you've found the loose corner.

I pushed in all of them and it didn't help, also it felt like when I pushed in bottom left, the top right would push out and others respectively.

I tried to push them in without taking the cooler off though. If I take the cooler off, should I put on the thermal paste onto the CPU ? Or is it good to take the cooler off and on ?

If the cooler hasn't had new thermal compound in 2 years, then it should be cleaned from the cooler and CPU and replaced with fresh compound.

If you're not familiar with how the latching mechanism works, then I suggest that you follow the Guide I linked for you above.
