Hello guys,
These days i have gone through a lot of processors but my eyes stopped on the old 2500k due to its low price-high performance.
So i was wondering what an overclocked i5 2500k can go head to head to from the new cpu's from the i3,5,7.

Short:
What can an overclocked i5 to about 4,7ghz go against from the new processors.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

A 4.7 oc may be optimistic, it depends on the chip.
The high 4.7 numbers you read about are from those who won the lottery.
Those with dogs are silent.

It might equate to i5-4690 or i5-6600 at stock.
Really though, if you need core speed, on a budget, look at the i3-6100 or i3-6320.
With a higher budget, i5-6600k overclocked is as good as you can get.
