I5 2500k vs i5 3470

I know i5 2500k is better than i5 3470.but i5 3470 is 115$ &i5 2500k is 150$ in my area. So is it worth the extra money or i5 3470 woulb be fine?

Resolution- 1600*900
Gpu. Gtx 1050ti
500 watts psu
12 gigs ram ddr3.

Actually the 3470 is just slightly better than the 2500 even though its clock is slightly lower. But the 2500K can be overclocked which can turn the tables a wee bit. I'd opt for the 3470.
