I5 3330 S with Turbo Boost..Is it worth it?

Hi everyone!
I am planning to upgrade my Cpu. Basically i need it to run games, edit video and photos.My question is: is the 3330 S as fast with turbo boost as the 3330, which has higher frequency core?According to Cpu Boss they deliver the same performance, but is it really true?Anyone? Thank You!

If u don't plan to OC, get the highest u could. (e.g. i5-3570 or i5-4670) -S and -T type CPU are designed for power efficient and therefore the performance may be subdued compared w/ normal i5 CPUs.

I only have money for a 3330S or a i5 2400/ 2500..(They dont have cheap 3330 Right now🙁...Although i am afraid that my Gigabyte 460W PSU is too weak for a 95W CPU..What do you think?
btw, My Specs are : g630 Pentium 65 W TDP
Gtx 550 Ti
8giga kingmax ram
120Gb samsung 840 Ssd
2x 1 tb HDD
Gigabyte 460W PSU
Should i go for a older 2400/2500 or wait to get an efficient 3330 ?

For me I would save up more for i5-3570. Now I'm sure that i5-4670 is unavailable for your rig so I won't mention it again. Really, since u've saved up to get an i5 , why not try harder to get the best u could?

I've no idea how the i5-2400 selling in ur country. But in the US 2nd i5 doesn't make a price difference compared w/ 3rd/4th i5 CPUs.

460W PSU should be able to handle 95W CPU.

Is the 95 w processor producing so much more heat than one with 65 or 77w TDP?
I have a smallish micro atx house, i am affraid things can get a little bit too hot- although i have 2 chassis fans, 1 front, 1 rear-in there..

Only if overclocking could a CPU has much heat. As far as I know 2nd/3rd i5 CPU doesn't produce much heat as u imagine (But 4th i5/i7 CPUs produce more heat than their predecessors). If u'r still not very sure u could add a 3rd party CPU cooler but I don't think it necessary. Your stock cooler will handle the CPU temp fine even if your CPU is running at the turbo speed all the time.

I found a guy who sells a new 3470 for the same price as a 3330, but comes with only half a year warranty..Is it too big risk?
(i heard that intel processors are very reliable ...and i won't mess with OC-ing...)

should i buy it?
