AMD as the cpu can fit a decent 970 series motherboard with it.

you can overclock the 6350 so it will be noticably faster at 4.5ghz. if you left the 6350 stock then the 3340 would be noticably faster.

i5 3340

is better buy runs cooler and uses less average the processor uses is 35w

the fx 6350 will use round 100w average

doesnt sound like a lot but once you stick a graphic card that takes 150w etc it adds up

the i5 3340 would be ur best bet if u wont overclock.

I am predominantly a intel user but that intel set up while competent is dull at ditch water.

The six core FX is a great CPU, good choice of motherboard too so I would prob take that.
