i5-3350P as HTPC in 2018

Hi all,

I'm currently in the search to upgrade my current mini-PC that is hooked to my 55" 1080p LED TV. It's running on a small atom processor so I know it's not very fast; although it still manages youtube and netflix without any problems. I plan on downloading HQ movies, stream shows, and lightly game.

I've found a good deal for a HTPC that's assembled in a Shuttle XPC case (https://us.shuttle.com/products/SH110R4/SH110R4-specifications/) so it looks nice as a HTPC

The specs are:
i5-3350P
8gb ram
128gb ssd + 500gb HDD
HD5450
for about $220

I'm also thinking about adding a 1050ti to pair, and be able to couch game lightly (or maybe try some AAA games in low-med settings 60 fps)

Would this be pair be an OK option still in 2018? I think 1050ti can still manage to output decent frame rates to play in 1080p without any hiccups. Hoping this would also stream 4k videos without any problems.

Also, if I were to add a wifi to this computer, which adapter do you recommend? would any USB wifi adapter suffice?

Thanks in advance

Yup, the case should have dual-slot PCI-e X16 with 300w PSU

Just wondering if i5 3350/1050ti combo would struggle in putting out 4k display with any stutters in the future (in case I get 4k TV in the future)

Thanks
