i5 3470 gets up to 78 degree celcius during gaming.Is that safe?

I have used Msi Afterburner to detect cpu temp of my i5 3470 and it stays from 75 to 78 degree celcius during gaming in very high settings.The temperature where I live is around 38 degree celcius.Is the temperature in safe limits or is there some problem with the cpu setup?Gtx 1060 6gb is installed and stock cooling fan is there.

Those temps are ok-ish, given the ambient temps you have there, BUT, could be better. I would strongly suggest getting an uprated cooler, and making sure that your thermal compound is nice and fresh, this way you can minimise the running temp even more. Also i would make sure that the airflow inside your case is optimal. Make sure that all the components and coolers are free from dust and dirt!

Its all normal if you are using intel stock cooler. becouse if those high temp we all use cpu cooler😀

Check the temperature guide stickied at the top of this forum. Those temps are still very safe - Intel designed your CPU to run up to 105c before it throttles itself to preserve stability and longevity.
