Hey guys I'm new here!!

Just wanted to ask you a few questions.. I'm not an expert about pc for gaming..

I'm currently running an i3 3750k with an old HD7850 GPU.. I'd like to upgrade my config a bit by changing ofc the GPU with an Asus strix 970 (have to change power supply and case too).. Is it worth spending more money to upgrade to a i5 6600+new moba+new rams?

Should I keep the money and maybe in future buying a CPU cooler to OC my i5 3570K?

Will the improvement only with the gtx970 be notable?

Thanks in advance

-Sorry for my english it's not my mothertongue-

That PSU is probably garbage, since it has zero legitimate reviews and Thermaltake is known for shoddy PSUs.

Get an EVGA G2 650W or another Super Flower Leadex Gold or a Seasonic based unit. The G2 tends to be cheaper than other gold rated units and is far better. Just make sure it's the G2 and NOT G1, GQ, or NEX, since those are garbage
The 970 is much faster than the 7850, at least twice as fast. You do NOT need to upgrade your CPU though, it's still very good and not much slower than a 6600K .

What PSU though? It might be a good idea to upgrade that instead of the CPU if you are getting a 970

It was already my intention.. I got an old Thermal Master ATX 12V TM-550-PSAP-I3.. I'm looking for a Thermaltake 650W Paris Gold..

Have to upgrade the PSU because I don't have the right pins for the new GPU.. I cannot install an adaptor on my old PSU
