My i5-4440 is running at 100 celcius. I tried removing the stock cooler this week, and had luck but the computer repair guy said I broke the push pin things when removing it.. aka I uninstalled the stock cooler wrong. The guy also said stock is always better which is complete bullshit. So the new cooler I have is wiggly due to the push pins not working so it isn't seated fully.... What do I do? Did the guy put too much thermal paste on? Am I experiencing this due to the broken push pins? My cooler is a Hyper TX3. The guy said if I have issues regarding overheating then contact ASUS my PC maker. With the stock cooler, I was experiencing 70 Celcius and everything was working great. I can't even play CS:GO as I get 30 fps with 45 var because of this. As I'm typing this, my CPU is at 94 celcius.
