Hi

I am caught with a tie between the FX 8350 or the i5 4440 or maybe the 4570 for mediocre gaming; I might start playing BF4, not sure yet though. I would be getting a Z97 motherboard for the 4440, I know it is locked however Z97 mobos have SLI capabilities; H97 do not. But I only really play Mediocre to hard to run sort of games like:

(I will be upgrading to GTX 760 And then an SLI 760)
Skyrim {Going to be using ENB mods}
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare I play this game a lot.
GTA IV
Garry's Mod (I play this a lot)
Rust
Saint's Row The Third
Possibly battlefield 4
Assassins creed 4
Assassins creed 3
Borderlands 1
Borderlands 2
bioshock 2

Would a GTX 760 be bottlenecked by an FX 8350? Should I go with an 8350 or a 4440 OR 4570?

Thanks.

Solution
If your talking 1080p the fx 8350 or i5 are fine you have to understand your screen is only 60hz the 8350 is more than capable if you can get one for like 150 or so get it if the price goes above 180 get the intel

Agreed, I would take the i5. 4570 is quite a good deal as it has higher boost clocks. "Mediocre gaming" is almost a joke actually, you could play anything with this processor! And you can keep the boxed cooler as well, at least at first, especially if your case features good cooling.
