i5 4460 and r9 380

Is this combo compatible since im using intel cpu and amd gpu ? Will one bottleneck the other ?
Another gpu in the same range price that will work better or whatever?

Both are compatible, and no bottleneck. That CPU can support nearly any GPU, all the way up to flagship cards.
The 380 is a solid card for the price, better than its competitor the 960.

good to know , what about the fx 6300 ? can it handle the r9 380 ?

It can, but it is nowhere near the same level as the i5.
