I5 4460+ gtx 1070 = ?

I have a i5 4460 and 16gb ram at 1600, and i want to buy the gtx 1070 next month. So the question is: will my cpu bottleneck the 1070? I play at 1080p 60hz.

Given the i5 4440 doesn't bottleneck a GTX 970, I don't think the GTX 1070 will be. Wait for the release, then we can tell more firmly.

There may be some bottlenecking when compared to the fastest 6 core w/HT intel chip, but not as much as you seem to be worried about. These intel chips can feed the GPUs very well.

Regardless of what GPU you're using, a 4460 will not bottleneck your performance on a 60Hz monitor, you can get 60 Fps on any modern game with tha CPU and a capable GPU. For 120-144 Hz monitors, well, thats another story.

And this guy is running i5 4460 and gtx 980ti (presuming that the 1070 will have the same performance) and he is getting 97-99% gpu usage and 60 fps with msaa 8x.

Yeah, go ahead. CPU intensive games might bottleneck in the future.
