I5-4460 to I5-6500 worth it?

Is it worth it to upgrade to a skylake cpu? If I wanted to I would have to purchase a brand new motherboard cause mine only supports socket LGA 1150. Right now I have an i5-4460 which performs pretty well.

No need to change at this point , you would need a new board and DDR4 memory for the 6500. The 4460 is still a great chip.
