i5-4570 or FX 6300 (Gaming)

So I've heard older games will run better on the i5 but newer ones will utilize more cores making the 6300 better. What do you think I should get between the two? GPU is an R9 270x/7870

i5 will out perform the 6300 in pretty much every game. Get the i5.

I5 the FX 6300 may beat I3 in some tasks but not I5.

At this moment, the i5-4570 is much better than FX-6300 in every game.

An i5 is far superior to an FX 6300. Even clocked to a 4.5ghz, an FX 6300 still falls short of a stock 3570k.
