I have to builds that are pretty much the exact same prices. The only difference in them is processor and power supply and aftermarket cooling. I've seen Jook d's drafts and they were really helpful but i'm still unsure. I plan on using the computer for School stuff, so word documents, programming (Visual basic), gaming and a bit of 2d animating. Such as creating stickmen animations

Solution
I'd try for a 4670K and Z87 for an extra 50 bucks if you could. Add an aftermarket cooler later on.
For the AMD build, If you could get a 770 in there...it be worth it over the 4670.

Ok I tried your first recommendation and it's £20 more which i could do (nothing more though, so lucky me) I changed the processor to the 4670k and the motherboard to the Asrock Z87 Pro 3, is that fine?

I would personally choose the amd. Why?
Ok so first of all i dont want to start a forum war about intel vs amd
1.But ocing the 8320 will give you a better preformance than the 4570
2. You will be saving money.
3. Its more future proof.
4. The things you will be doing dont require a high end cpu. I mean the 6300 would even be enough.
So in conclusion:
Amd beats intel in price / preformance ratio but intel is still better and i personally prefer amd. Just because i love oc. :)
If i helped please choose as best answer
Thx

That'll be fine. Just remember you won't be able to go with a dual card later on as it only has one PCI-E slot...
But it's a much better choice than the 4670 as you can add an aftermarket cooler and get some more legs out of it.
