Question i5 4590 bottleneck for 1080ti mini?

Will the 1080ti with i5 - 4590 be okay for my 1080p gaming ?

You would be CPU limited in a lot of games. Probably just as well off with a GTX 1080 or RTX 2070 paired with your i5-4590. Get a 1440p or 4K monitor and you would be better off with the 1080 Ti.

No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is if you play in 1080p your performance with the 1080 Ti will be similar to someone using a GTX 1080, or simply lower than other people using a GTX 108 Ti who have a better CPU, because your CPU will be limiting your GPU performance and the GPU won't perform at its maximum capability. When you play at 1440p or 4K, more of a strain is placed on the GPU making you utilize your GPU more.

Why are you fixed on getting a GTX 1080 Ti? Are you getting a really good deal on it?

In some games having 4 threads will hold you back, but still a decent card for you, especially if you run 1440p.
