No it will still be good, both CPU's are modern with not a big difference in performance.

the 6600 is already stronger clock for clock and is 5%+ better at the same clocks.
so will this so called 5% improvement would be noticeable in game performance i mean if both are paired with same gpu than what will there be similarities , despite 6600 get higher freq ram 😀
No noticeable difference in gaming performance since it relies on the GPU more. Going with the 6600 will allow for DDR4 ram which is quickly becoming the new std.
