Question i5 4670k asrock fatal1ty z97 killer

hi guys i order a mobo i know is a old mobo but you know budget. asrock fatal1ty z97 killer together with i5 4670k and im a little bit worry because i dont know if those two match the mobo and the cpu..together with msi rx 570 4gb and ram ddr3 samsung 16gb 1600mhz..
can you guys help me..thanks..

so that means that i can do the overclock..and how well this set up can play modern games?..thank you..

Assuming you have a good cpu cooler and psu then you can overclock.

This setup is ok for modern games but not brilliant. There will be games where you see drops under 60fps as a few games can completely saturate quad cores and the 4670k is not as strong as modern quad cores. It’s weaker than an i3 8350k.

alright now i got it ..what cpu do you recommend for this set up..the psu is a evga 600 watts.and the cpu cooler is a hyper evo 212..

The best cpu you can run is a 4790k but that’s weaker than a modern i5 ‘k’ cpu. If you are buying a motherboard and cpu you would be better off selling your DDR3 RAM and buying a modern cpu/motherboard/RAM combo. It only makes sense to invest in obsolete parts if you have the majority of parts already.
