i5-4670k cant overclock on MSI-B85-G43 Gaming

Hey,

I Bought a new motherboard and a new processor, i changed BIOS OC setting to 4,4Ghz and 1.140Volt. I saved and loaded the setting and rebooted my pc and nothing changed.
MSi Command Center also doesnt work.

The B85 motherboard chipset does not support overclocking.

How are you checking to see if it changed anything?

The B85 Chipset DOES NOT support overclocking of cpu's to typical users (like yourself).

I don't know why MSI advertises overclocking, i can only assume they advertise it as the BIOS that comes with the motherboard includes 'OC gene' (Doesn't mean this function will actually be usable on all motherboards)
