When I am playing my games my cpu is just shooting out of the roof and then my ram is being taken over (I do know I need more ram as well). My buddy was telling me that I need to upgrade it but I have been seeing that people have some great experiences with it. It is not overclocked and I not very savvy when it comes to computers I am always open to learning new things about computers because I love messing with mine. I do appreciate the help

i5 4670K to the i7 4790K
GIGABYTE G1.Sniper Z87 motherboard
8GB ripjaw G skill 1600
GeoForce GTX 760 GPU

Dude no you dont have to upgrade anything... That is a nice pc right there! What made you think you should upgrade?? If you want to upgrade because you friend said so it`s just because he want`s your cpu for a deflated price... The 4670K is a very very good gaming cpu, if you want to game then you should never choose the i7 over a i5... Your not going to get a real performance boost

If you want to upgrade anything, go for the GPU... Your ram is pretty much fine also... But if you want you can upgrade that to but leave the cpu just where it is!

Its good to know that I don't have to upgrade the cpu. I still have those massive spikes though that make it hard to play some games (including modded minecraft packs.) any ideas what could be causing that?

I have been told that the CPU is fantastic but it still is have a problem where I am getting 70-90% usage when I am playing guild wars on high and other games as well, and when I change everything to low it drops only by 3% Something has to be wrong with the build. Power supply is a Thermaltake
