Hello guys.I recently bought gtx1070 to play battlefield 1 but i have frame drops. My cpu usage is %100 in game.I think the graphics card bottlenecks with my cpu. However at different games such as battlefield 4 or h1z1 its all right. No frame drops at all.So is my cpu bottlenecking or its just a problem with battlefield 1.Should i upgrade to i7 4790K ? Will 4790K solve my problem ?

System: Asus Z87-A motherboard i5 4670K processor 16gb 1600mhz ram evga gtx1070 gpu

read this: http://windowsreport.com/battlefield-1-high-i5-cpu-usage/

"Any CPU lower than a 4790k will get maxed out, regardless of what GPU gamers have. Many Battlefield 1 fans say they don’t really understand why EA/DICE took this decision in regards to CPU types, since the 4690k is the most popular gaming CPU out there."

...
"Battlefield 1 fans hope that the first patch for the game will address high CPU usage issues, but for the time being DICE has yet to issue any comments on this situation."

There should be no problems with the CPU as it can handle any GPU. Make sure you are on the latest graphics drivers. When installing Graphics drivers be sure to check the clean install button in the installer too, always best to reinstall drivers even when changing GPUs from the same manufacturer.

I clean installed my gpu and all the drivers are up to date.

He doesn't have frame drops, but he does have full CPU usage. Read the article I posted above. Yes, overclocking will help to a point if it's possible but this game is using far too much CPU processing power.

Yeah running at 1440p will shift the load to the GPU :)

Thanks for that link:
BF1 certainly has some optimisation issues.
Another thing I found funny is their system requirements:

"CPU minimum Requirement: AMD 6350 or i5 6600k"

What?!
i5 6600k will mop the floor with a FX 6350. (I assume they just put the 6600k there because its the latest i5 idk)
