I5-4690K damage (Scrathed)

About 2 months back I purchased an i5 4690K and motherboard, the motherboard had to be returned and I got a replacement . Now, I've just noticed what appear to look like scratches on the underside of the CPU. They are tiny , very small so would they cause a problem ( The CPU doesn't have pins)

Intel CPU's don't have pins. Those are on the motherboard.

As we out here cannot see the potential damage, it is impossible to say.

whoops i forgot its amd that has the pins on the cpu. as said we need a Picture or something to judge

either the cpu will work or it wont. those are just contacts on the bottom of the intel cpu. as long as the motherboard pins are hitting them then there should be no problem. if they are scratched to the point that there is no metal left then your computer wont work.

Sorry I couldn't get a picture up lads , but I got thermal paste and installed the CPU and it is running perfectly !!!
