There is nothing special about the Hyper212 EVO, but it was parroted so much that people were fooled into thinking it is worth more than it is. Fortunately, thanks to lists of competitors (one or more of which I have always found to be cheaper), the parrots have not been squawking as much lately, and some retailers are beginning to bring the price of the EVO down to where it belongs. For example, while it was available, the Xigmatek Gaia was typically $20-$23, perhaps 30% cheaper, and some reviews found it better. Right now, I'd probably get Raijintek on a tight budget.
