Question I5 6500 and GTX 1660 ti

For the question:
I was wondering if the i5 6500 significantly bottlenecks the 1660 ti? I've been struggling on making a decision to upgrade my GPU because I've been reading multiple forums about the GPU paired with the CPU and they all come with mixed reviews whether it will bottleneck or not.

PC Specs:
i5 6500
MSI B150 PC MATE (MS-7971)
2x8gb ddr4
Nvidia Gtx 1050ti
PSU EVGA 500 BQ 80+ Bronze (Model number: 110-BQ-0500-K1)

Games that I play:
League of Legends
World of Warcraft
Rainbow Six Siege
PUBG
CSGO
Apex Legends
Overwatch
Halo Master Chief Collection (I know it's not out, but I'm just looking to upgrade my PC for it, the 1050 ti is kind of sluggish to me now.)

You should be good to go, perhaps see what sort of in-game details you can have before you decide on upping the processor. IMHO, you shouldn't if gaming at 1080p.

So I should only get it if I plan on playing 1440p?

1440p will put even more demand on the gfx card than 1080p. So, that slightly lessens the chance of CPU bottleneck.
