Hello this is my first post, I am building my first PC and I want to know which is better, an i5 6600k or an i5 7600 non k.

So, here is the matter, I am from Uruguay, and hardware is pretty expensive, and the importation taxes are like 60 or 70 percent of the total purchase, so no amazon to me.
I am not able to get a 7600k version, so I am wondering among those two... I was planning to buy an i7 7700k, but after reading a lot, there's some heat issues and after reading more, I decided I will not need (I think) the hyperthread for gaming (which is the main purpose of the pc).

My (planned) build:

Msi z270 gaming m3..........................................230$
Msi gtx 1060 gaming x ......................................460$
Kingston Hyperx Fury Ddr4 8gb 2666mhz........85$
Cougar stx550 80+............................................ 66$
Cougar mx300 case...........................................55$
Storage from previous laptop and old pc ~1tb

I5 6600k is 350$
I5 7600 is 335$
I7 7700k is 515$
I7 6700k is 505$
If I go i5 I can afford an intel 600p m.2 ssd wich is 180$ wit 256gb for OS installation.
And depending on the cpu I will choose the cooler. Not many options, CM v8 gts for like 180$, a TT nic c5 for around 80$ or a corsair Hydro H80I GT that is 165$

<<UPDATE>>
[If I go 'k', I will overclock. And I want that board for any update if I ever decide to go i7 (6th or 7th gen).]

All prices are on US dollars.
Sorry for long post.
Sorry if I made any grammar error.

Solution

Thanks. He did, in an update 6 minutes after I posted my reply

It's a tough call in all honesty. The 7600 is clocked higher out of the box (3.5GHz to 4.1), so will show some relatively small gains stock vs stock.

Since you are interested in OCing, the 6600K would make the most sense IMO.
The 6600K boosts to 3.9GHz, so something in the 4.3GHz range should be achievable with the right board + cooler.

In short:
If you want to OC = i5-6600K
If you don't = i5-7600

He already said he would be overclocking on the 'k' skew CPU.

Solution
Thanks, will go for the I5 6600k, also, what about msi motherboards? Dou you think I can achieve a 4.1 or 4.2 stable on it? And, will I ha e any bottleneck in the system?

Chicano, as I said on the post, I can't get an i5 7600k, only 7600 or 6600k. And those prices don't apply to me, here everything is expensive af, and if I buyfrom amazon I need to pay like 70 percent of the total purchase wich will be more expensive than buying at a store in my country.

Yeah, I realise prices are not the same everywhere... even within the USA. The prices I included are just for reference and to make the point that the difference is not that much, and you may be able to afford the i5-7600k if you follow Ecky's advice and spend less on the motherboard to get the best CPU possible... You could spend as much as 35% less on the motherboard and still get a very good pruduct. Obviously this is just a suggestion, and you decide what to or not buy with your money.

7700 and 7600 (bot non K) @ ~480$
Cheapest h270 board @ ~190$
If going for an i7, it's wiser to go K, but no ssd to me, also, this build won't happen for two or three months, prices here wont drop (they never drop) BUT maybe I can see the Ryzen chip and rethink my build, been hearing good things about it.
