i5-6600k overclocking on msi b150 m3

Solution
Generally the B and H boards will not accept multiplier OC, although can do some minor OC with BCLK, but this is not recommended, best left at 100 as it overclocks the entire system, not just the cpu. There are rare exceptions like the pentium g3258, which has permission to OC due to its inherently low power.

So the answer is no, bios won't allow OC on a B board.
i'd expect so, not really sure when it comes to the newer chipsets, it has heat sinks on the vrm tho and decent caps so i'd expect it to. Does it have )C Gene or an overclocking menu in the BIOS. If so then you should be fine
