I5 6600K will it bottleneck

If I have an I5 6600k with a Sapphire nitro Vega 64 will it bottleneck at 1440p or should I over clock it.

At 1440P most of the gaming load will be on the Vega 64 so you should be fine for most titles. I would still pair that CPU with either a Z170 or Z270 motherboard to have the ability to overclock it later on when the extra performance is needed.

It should do well. In some of the latest cpu heavy games you may want to overclock it but I do expect the GPU will usually be the limiting factor.
