How good is the I5 7500 for gaming nowadays? Does it still offering a good performance or does it suc*s because he is a 4 cores and 4 threads only?

It doesn't suc*....but it can't support the best GPUs of today....but for 1080p gaming I think it's acceptable.

That combo should be ok for a while in games.

Some more demanding games are starting to struggle on 4c and 4t, especially when the single-thread performance of these CPUs is nothing special, as with the i5 7500.

However, most games should run alright.

If you play at resolutions above 1080p, the GPU will be the sole limitation in most scenarios.

I think it's a good match for a GTX 1060 and that fits 1080p nice.
