I5 7600k + 3000mhz RAM

Hey i got I5-7600K and Corsair CL15 Vengeance low profile 3000mhz 2x8 GB RAM on Asus Z270-A motherboard. In BIOS RAM is set to 2133mhz so i wanna ask if (i5-7600K that supports only 2133 and 2400smth) i can set RAM to 3000 mhz and it will work. its kinda sh*t running 2133 when i have 3000mhz. (set it in bios in memory speed to DDR4-3000mhz)

You need to select the profile for your ram in the 'bios.' I have the 7700k and same ram, but the Asus Strix 270E motherboard and it set my ram to 2133 until I selected the preset profile for 3000.
