So I’m averaging around 45-60 fps on ultra in battlefield 1 with my specs which is weird because the benchmarks say you can play it no problem at a constant 60fps+. My CPU temps go to around 79-86c so I could that be the problem?

Is that multiplayer or single player? The benchmarks are nearly always single player but multiplayer is far more cpu demanding.

Also are you running DX11 of DX12?

DX11, its weird because the pc is a month old and used to run fine, now it lags.

Monitor cpu usage, are all cores near 100%? It’s possible a game or driver update has changed things.

Yes that is too hot but not sure if hot enough to throttle. Need to get a good cooler and keep it under 70c.

I have a much older cpu and my card is not *that* much faster than yours and I get 90+ fps in BF1. Somethings definitely amiss.
