Hey guys, I need to know if either of these CPUs will be good for editing and multiple monitor setups. I am gonna run a GTX 1060 6gb video card and need to know if either of these processors with this card will work for all the things I listed and which one I should use if I am gonna record at 1080p 60fps and then edit and render videos. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes but this would be more something GPU specific rather than CPU, but if you were comparing the 2 CPUs then of course the i7-7700 would be better at it since they are excellent multi-taskers. Your GTX 1060 should be great on 2x 1080p Monitors but if you plan on Gaming on both of them using Nvidia Surround then you might want to invest on a slightly stronger card like a GTX 1070. If you are just Gaming on one and the other is for Recording, Apps, etc then the 1060 will handle that just fine it's a great card for 1080p Gaming at High/Ultra 60+ FPS.
The i7-7700 without a single doubt. For Gaming it would be close with the i7 7700 being only a fraction ahead in general thanks to Hyperthreading and such over the i5 7600K. But the i7 would be significantly faster at Rendering and Video Editing, also will have better overhead when you are recording. Only thing is you can't overclock the 7700 unless you get a K series like the 7600K if that matters to you. Hope this helps :)
