I5-8400, GTX 1070 good for PUBG?

The i5-8400 was good when it cost $179-189. Now, at $220 I can't say it's a good choice. The i5-8600K is only $20 more. And the Ryzen 5 2600 is considerably less. The 2600X is also an option. I would change to one of those CPUs and get faster RAM, 3000 or 3200.

Do I need a cooler for i5-8400? sorry, i am a newbie to build a pc.

I am not thinking to overclock cpu and GPU. Is it better to buy 8600K though I am not going to overclock it?

If you buy an intel processor you need a cooler.

If you buy the 8600K you can expect a 10%-20% increase in performance, so I second that addition. As far as cooling is concerned since you are specifically looking to avoid doing overclocking you can get a very affordable air cooler.

is this cooler gonna work u think? and do you think i will get notable performance change from ddr4 2--- ram to ddr 3000 or 3200 one?

NOT! I have a standard Intel Troller on the I5 8400 in pairs with the 1060 MSI6gb never exceeds 62 degrees under the maximum load, of course it is important how and how you will be the bulky housing!
