Hey,

I've recently built myself a new gaming rig, like a week ago, and been monitoring my cpu's temps for a while now and to be honest I'm not sure what temps are considered good for that particular cpu and google search didn't yield any results regarding that.

i5-8600 using Hyper 212 EVO idle temps are around 29C-33C and 56-62C when gaming. What temps are considered high for that particular cpu?

Solution
Those are very good temps.

In general, I consider anything under 70 is good (under load)....and anything approaching 80, I'd like to do something about.

The max junction temperature for that CPU Tj is 100C.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help, jay. I appreciate you. That's a relief to hear thanks! The reason I was worried is because excluding the Hyper 212 EVO, I only installed two fans one intake and one exhaust on my NZXT H500 case since I want my pc to be as quiet as possible, and apparently it worked just fine. Thanks again, what a gentleman.
