Overclockers my CPU about 4 months ago and managed to bump it up to 4.5ghz with no voltage increase. Decided to run prime 95 just to see what sorta temps I'd be getting in an unreal world and so far settling around 78/80c which I'm pretty eased with. Do you think I could go higher than 4.5 stock voltage? Also what clock speeds have people got?

Solution
It is almost your civic duty to try 4.6 GHz, and note the temps under load...! (Some might get 4.7 - 4.8 GHz, but, I'd ease off if/when temps get into the 80's under lesser loads like CPU-Z/bench/cpu stress; if already at 78C, you are already close...

Well I've been re testing on the Intel burn test multiple times. Temps are around 73°. I might have a play around in the settings with the fan speed as it's rather quiet plus a clean probably wouldn't go amiss!!. Currently using CWMonitor to check all cores but so far so good!.

So managed to do some testing today. Last night temps were in the low 80s and today decided to clean the grating and tried a bit more but temps reached 90c. Clocked down to 4.5 and still the same. Did a bit of research and turns out my CPU isn't running stock voltage as it's in auto. Started in 4.5 again at 1.19 and temps hover at 68c in realbench so I may bump up to 4.6 to see if it can cope!!
