i5 8600k overclocking

I currently have an 8600k on a msi z370 pc pro motherboard being cooled by a small corsair h60 120mm aio. Crucial sport ram overclocked to 2666mz. i overclocked the 8600k to 5gz with 1.38v completely stable just a little hot. in cinebench it peaks at 85c stays around 80c. games like fortnite, runescape, realm royal, and overwatch it peaks at 77 but stays around 70. should i get another bigger cooler like the h100i v2? or dial back on the 5gz(it just looks so nice)

5.0 is only 4% higher than 4.8. Is 4% worth the cost of a new cooler? I bet your not pushing your cpu to 100% in real world situations so your not using that extra performance.

How much would that help temps do you think? and busting out around $100 for a 240 isnt a huge deal

Impossible to say how much it improves temps, depends how much you can drop the voltage.

However if you want the bragging rights and don’t mind the $100 then why not.
