So i now currently have : i5 9600k 4.6ghz on 1.27v
Asrock extreme4 z390
gtx 1060 6gb
ddr4 2x8 2133mhz (i know its slow for 9600k but i will buy 3200mhz)

And currently i have Coolermaster Hyper TX3 EVO and while playing csgo i get around 60-65c and while playing apex around 65-72c and i really dont like that..
Idle temperature is around 50c. Also i have one back case fan.

Now i wanna ask what air cooler should i get. I have some on my mind but idk what to buy.

be quiet! Dark Rock 4
or maybe
Noctua NH-U14S (idk if it will fit in my case)

And what temperature i can expect if i upgrade to cooler like dark rock 4?

Thanks very much.

I do not know that you have a problem that needs fixing.
Running 75c. under load is not bad at all.
The processor will throttle or shut down if it senses a dangerous temperature.
That is around 100c.

Much depends on your case.
What is the make/model?
The case needs adequate air intake for a cooler to do it's job.
One rear case fan does not seem to be adequate at all.
Your case should have at least two 120/140mm front air intakes.

What height is available for a cooler?
The DRP4 needs 159mm.
The noctua NH-U14s needs 165mm.
NH-D15s needs 160mm.

Yea my friend also told me its fine for this CPU and i should not worry if it goes more than 75c.
But i wanna better cooler!

I have one back case fan and it helped me to lower temp for like 4,5c.

My case is Cooler Master Elite 332

Your idle and load temps both seem high. You probably should've gotten a 120mm heatsink/fan in the first place, but it's possible that a proper reseating would help lower temps.

I also said that for me around 50c while in chrome is not good.. also games like csgo around 60c on 4.6ghz with 1.27v its high for me.

I am thinking about be quiet! Dark Rock 4

The DR4 will be a decent improvement in ability over that smaller TX3. It got better thermals at higher loads because it has a higher wattage range.

But that's only part of your temperature issues. You case fans is the other. With just 1x exhaust you are getting no airflow into-out of the pc case, all the air being used by the clu/gpu is recycled and air drug in from any cracks or vents. Your case is not much better than an oven. You need at least 1 intake fan, preferably 2 intakes and 2 exhaust total. This will remove all the cpu/gpu generated heat from the case and resupply it with cooler air from outside the case. Idle temps should be in the mid 30's, gaming temps in the mid-high 50's, even with your current TX3.

Yea i think DR4 or NH D15s will for sure lower temps for like 5 to 10c?

But for case fans yea its true but i think i first need to get good air cpu cooler and than get case fans after.

With my current TX3 my previous i5 6600k would get to 57max ingame so i am just assuming that TX3 is really bad for i5 9600k..

Ass-u-me, it's how it's spelled, and your theory is not right. It's physically impossible to cool something by mechanical means to below ambient temps. A cpu cooler is mechanical it's a heatsink with a fan. You'd need chemical means, like liquid nitrogen (LN2) or peltier or air conditioner compressor to lower temps under ambient.

So figure you are gaming for an hour. The inside of your case is an oven, the cpu and gpu pumping out heat, and it's going nowhere, just that one exhaust can't and won't do the job. So the air inside your case is 50°C +, reaching maybe as high as 60°C.

So the best air cooler in the world will only work in the range of 51°C at best, with load temps exceeding 60°C. You will not magically get down to 30-35°C idle by using a better cooler or similar drops at load temps, because the air going through the cooler is already at least 50°C to start with.

Wait, you only have one case fan, one on the rear? It looks like your case should have came with an intake and exhaust, did yours not? If you don't have both a decent intake and exhaust fan, you need to get those first before upgrading the CPU cooler.

Yea only one at the back (exhaust) but i will buy one 120mm fan for intake and it should help alot dont you think? I watched some videos on youtube and it lower CPU and GPU temp alot with shit cooler like mine. And for sure I will buy Dark Rock 4 if its available.

Dark Rock 4 is 160mm tall.
Dark Rock 4 Pro is 163mm tall.

There's many cases that will not fit even a 160mm cpu cooler. Without knowing what your case cpu cooler maximum height is, you have a good chance of buying a cpu cooler you cannot use.

What case do you have?

I typed above Cooler Master Elite 332 but you probably didnt see it 😀

Update : got 2 ARCTIC COOLING P12 PWM fans and currently my temperatures are really nice i didnt get over 60c with 2 case fans running on 700rpm while ingame.

In speedfan program it says that my one core is running on 101C but on Hwmonitor and Hwinfo its normal temerature but i am still worried.

Also i am new to case fans and idk how to make them run more RPM while ingame. But maybe its fine 60C max while ingame and it should stay at 700-800RPM?
