[SOLVED] i5 9600k or r7 2700x

Solution
Well as I said earlier it differents between certain games. But usually intel is leading (without stream) But if we logically think about rhis tyzen should balance it. So basically what I mean is that for example lets take fortnite avrg. Fps w 2080 intel and ryzen: when not streaming Intel 180fps ryzen 170 when streaming Intel 140-150fps ryzen 140-155fps

Ryzen is better at editing etc than intel. but intel is usually slightly better in games. But in this case ryzen will be better. Because in this case ryzen has sligtly better stats check on user cpu.benchmarks.com. But if you take i7 9700k it will be better that ryzen in games etc.

It changes between fifferent games but usually it is not much 5-15 scale difference. And what is sometimes odd, is that in some rare games ryzen show slightly better perfomance but its like 5 fps more than intel.

Ok. Yea that's what I have been reading. I am upgrading from my i7-3770, and a 2012 motherboard. I do YouTube and stream on twitch. So to record and stream to pursue what I love, would you recommend to me the Ryzen. Also would there be stutters of some sort? Since the 2700x has 8 cores and the 9600k has 6? As in stutters, like during gameplay, in recordings, and the output for streams?

Well, as if you said your planning on doing youtube that could require some editing etc. So maybe the Ryzen would be better for multi-purpose tasking pc. And if we note the slightly lower cost of the mb and cpu itself as a nice bonus. But if you take the ryzen make sure your ddr4 will support the mb and cpu. Good luck with your build :D
