I've got my i5-9600k running stable at 5.1 Ghz, -3 AVX offset, 1.42 core voltage, with peak temps at 72 degrees Celsius(Fan curve is VERY non-aggressive), 1870 Marks on the intel extreme tuning benchmark, and a score of 1190 on Cinebench. I saw people getting to 5.2 Ghz on their 9600k's and 8600k's, what can I do to bump up my OC? I have a 280 Mm EVGA CLC watercooler and 6 case fans so cooling headroom is not a concern whatsoever. System specs are as follows,
CPU: i5-9600k
Motherboard: MSI Z390 MPG GAMING EDGE PRO CARBON
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: 2x8Gb G.Skill RIPJAWS V 2666 Mhz
PSU: 650 Watt Seasonic Focus Plus Platinum
Case: Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic

Unfortunately 1.42 is the lowest I can go before Cinebench shits itself. Is there something you recommend me altering? Say going further with the AVX offset from -3 to -4 or dialing it up to -2?

Did you update your Bios? if not, you should.

Just built my new 9600k yesterday with a MSI Gaming Plus Z390, updated bios, using Corsar H100i V1. I've my voltage in Auto in Bios and set it to 5.0Ghz. No problems at all, temperatures around 60 - 64. I think that there is room to go to 5.2 Ghz without problems but I will not pass the 1.35V to try to achieve it. I advise you to go to 1.35V or 1.40V maximum.

Don't forget that while gaming and other activities processor never goes as high as in benchmarks, so maybe leaving it in Auto and at 5.0Ghz should be more than enough? it is for me and I'm playing iRacing in VR with HTC Vive (GTX 1080 gaming X and RAM Corsair LPX with XMP on @ 3000Mhz) and other heavy games (Battlefield V, Battlefront II, Project Cars 2 VR) and it's just a beast! It's awesome! Great jump from my old 4690k@4,6ghz. I'm very happy with it, don't feel the need to go to 5.2Ghz, I'll try today anyway but I think that's ok at 5.0Ghz. I'll give you feedback on this tomorrow.
